How does the 14-day free trial work? +
Enter your MT5 demo account number and email address in the trial section above to get a trial key instantly. Paste it into the EA's LicenseKey field in MT5. The 14-day timer starts the moment you first attach the EA to a chart — not from signup. The trial is locked to demo accounts only — subscribe or buy the lifetime license to trade live. After the trial, subscribe for $15/mo or buy once for $295.
How does the subscription license work? +
After subscribing via Paddle, a unique license key is emailed to you instantly. Paste it into the EA's LicenseKey field in MT5. The EA validates against our server on startup. As long as your subscription is active, the EA runs. If you cancel, the EA stops after your current billing period ends. You can re-subscribe anytime with the same key.
Which pairs and instruments are supported? +
Kontrol EA works on any MT5 symbol — forex pairs, XAUUSD, NAS100, crypto CFDs. VWAP strategies work best on liquid pairs like EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD. Grid and recovery modes can be tuned for higher-volatility instruments.
Does it work with prop firms? +
Yes. The built-in Prop Firm Mode supports FTMO and FundedNext presets with daily loss limits, total drawdown limits, and an optional trailing DD high watermark. There is also a hard equity stop for additional protection.
What broker do you recommend? +
Any ECN/STP broker offering MetaTrader 5 will work. The EA performs best with brokers that offer tight spreads and fast execution. The EA has a built-in spread guard so it won't trade when spreads exceed your configured maximum. We do not endorse or recommend any specific broker — always do your own research and ensure your broker is properly regulated.
What is Basket Relief? +
Basket Relief is a risk management feature that automatically trims overloaded grid/recovery baskets. When your open position count reaches a threshold, it closes the oldest and newest positions as a pair — provided their combined P&L is within an acceptable loss range. This reduces drawdown and frees margin without closing the entire basket.
Can I cancel my subscription? +
Yes, cancel anytime through Paddle — no questions asked. Your EA continues to work until the end of your paid billing period. You won't be charged again after cancellation.
